Polkadoodles die cut flowers

Hello lovely crafty people!
For today's Polkadoodles Digi Choosday challenge we were asked to make a wraparound card and here's what I came up with:

I wanted to make my card look like a bunch of flowers wrapped in tissue paper so, I die cut lots of Pretty Starburst Flowers dies and Pretty Flower Flourish dies in various pink and white card. The white leaves are from the Christmas Cracker die set and the bow and hearts are from the Ribbon Tag Heart dies. My sentiment is from Spring Flower Mothers Day Friends greetings which was mounted onto a labels die.
When my hubby saw my card he said, "it's very pink" !! Make of that what you will!!
I hope that you like my PINK card and have a great week.

Challenges:
Pixies crafty workshop - must use snippets - here are mine:

as you like it challenge -favourite season and why? - I like all the seasons but I like the winter months best of all because I like to wrap up warm and go for a walk. Then come home to a fire and a warm drink.

Polkadoodles Alcea Hollyhock Flowers

Hi there!
It's time for my design team card at Polkadoodles Digi choosday challenge and here's what I made:

I decided to make another stepper card which I cut out on my scan and cut machine along with the beautiful Polkadoodles Alcea-Hollyhock-flowers-digital--download. I printed and cut out several images so that I could layer them up with foam pads. The background papers come with the image so they co-ordinate perfectly. The sentiment is from Polkadoodles Spring-flower-mothers-day-friends-greetings sentiments and I finished off my card with some dots, glitter and a corner punch.

Challengs:
CD Sunday  - A/G using CD rom or Digi image
as you like it challenge -favourite-sketch-layout-and-why? - this is one of my favourite layouts at the moment because I can easily cut it out on my scan and cut machine. Also I think it's a bit different!

House Mouse Flowers

Hello and happy Friday! I have made a House Mouse card today:

I printed this image off a long time ago but I think it was from the House Mouse decoupage CD rom.
I then cut it out on my scan and cut and layered the images with foam pads. My papers are Make & Create 'Spring time'. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat (sadly closed) and I finished off my card by machine stitching around the edges and a corner punch.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge -favourite-sketch-layout-and-why? - this is my favourite sketch for a House Mouse decoupage card because I try to focus on the main image. I like to stitch around my finished card and add corner punches (which is a handy way to cover up wonky stiches!!)

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Polkadoodles - Superhero - Little Dudes

Hi there! I had a bit of crafty time today so I decided to colour this cute chap!:

I used Polkadoodles Superhero-little-dudes-download and coloured him with Promarkers. The image comes with the cloud paper plus 2 others and the sentiment. The stars are punched from glitter card and I added Glossy accents to his boots and glitter to his shield and lightsaber. I finished off with some corner punches and machine stitched around the edge of my card.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge -do-you-prefer-brights-or-pastels-and-why? - even though today's card is quite bright I do prefer pastel colours because I think they are more subtle and not so glary!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful bank holiday weekend!

Polkadoodles Graduation Stepper Card

Hi there!
It's time for Polkadoodles Digi Choosday challenge and the theme for this week is graduation so here is my card:

For today's card I decided to make a stepper card which I cut out on my scan and cut machine. The cute boy image is also cut out with my scan and cut along with the bunting and hat/scroll elements. The boy is mounted onto a Spellbinders die and the background paper is from the Graduation school student bundle which was then mounted onto some gold foiled card.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge -do-you-prefer-brights-or-pastels-and-why? - I much prefer pastels because I think it is more subtle and not so glary!

House Mouse decoupage card

Hi there, I hope that it's sunny wherever you are 🌞!  I have made a House Mouse card today:

I printed the images from the House Mouse decoupage CD Rom and then cut them out on my scan and cut machine - I absolutely love this machine! It saves so much time fussy cutting and cuts out such tiny images that I couldn't do with my scissors ✂. I layered all the elements with foam pads and added some glitter. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat (very sadly closed). To finish off I machine stitched around the edges and used a corner punch and heart stickers.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge -your-favourite-style-simple-or-fussy-why? - this is very easy for me as I CAN NOT make a CAS card for toffees!! I just have to add one more thing....!!
Pixies snippets playground - must use snippets - here are the snippets that I used:
