Halloween Squares

Good evening all.

I have made another Halloween card today using 'Halloween Squares' from Digi Stamp Boutique - which is on special offer at the moment.

I have simply coloured her with ProMarkers and added a bit of Wink of Stella pen finished with Glossy Accents. The background is a darker blue than in the photo but it doesn't show up very well. I used a new FlexMarker for this which is lovely to colour with and it is a very subtle colour.

I don't think that my witch is very scary- not like a children's TV programme I remember called 'Lizzy Dripping' Oooow! now that was scary!!

I will be back in a bit with my second card for today. TTFN.

Sketch Saturday blog candy

Hi there,
I'm back again as I have just noticed that it is  Sketch Saturday's blog 2000 followers milestone
and they are giving away lots of lovely goodies so take a look on the link above.

I love Sketch Saturday as it gives my brain a rest as I don't have to figure out where to put everything!! and don't we all love a bit of blog candy?!

Sparklers

Hello all,

Here is a Halloween card that I have made but as I haven't actually got any Halloween stamps I have improvised!!

Firstly I distressed the background with T.H distress ink with my new Inkylicious brush (masking off the moon). Then I stamped the Penny Black 'Sparklers' stamp and heat embossed it. I used a computer printed sentiment and Josy Rose nail heads. The dragon fly is cut out from an acetate sheet also from Inkylicious. Lastly I added a bit of my wink of stella pen to add a bit of sparkle.

Looking at it now it could have done with a bit more glitter but never mind!!

Thanks for stopping by and TTFN.

Craftwork cards 'Goody Bag'

Hello everyone.

Hope you are well and had a good day.

I've been a bit lazy for today's card - no stamping or colouring.

When I went to the Exeter craft show I bought a Craftwork Cards goody bag and it had lots of lovely things in it - die cut paper bows and paper flowers, butterflies, ribbon, candy dots, card blanks and DP. Here is my first play with it:

I used my own card blank and embossed it with dots EF and distressed the edges of the paper.
Isn't it nice sometimes just to put a card together rather than stamping?

So that's it for today, I would like to enter this card into   Friday Sketch Challenge  .

Thanks for stopping by - TTFN

White Christmas!

Hello everyone,

here is a card that I made for the Less is More challenge where the theme is 'White Christmas' and the colours are white on white.

I used:
a Hobby Art stamp with SU Marina Mist ink, Fluffy Stuff and Glamour dust and a Tonic die.

Hope that it is 'less is more' enough!!  I always think that there is a fine line between putting enough on the card to make it look like you have bothered!

Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by. TTFN

Pink Merry Christmas Tilda

Good morning all,

hope your Sunday has got off to a good start!

I have made a Tilda Christmas card for today:

What do you think - too pink? too sparkly? or just too much!!
Pink isn't really my colour so I might have gone a bit over the top.
I have used:
Merry Christmas Tilda, ProMarkers, peg stamps, pink gel pen, flowers and domes from The Ribbon Girl, Buttons from SU, Pink Sizzlit large Delicate Doilies die from SU, X Cut die.
There is a bit of a story to the charm and glittery snowflake die cut - Lizy  ( who is a lovely Stampin Up! demonstrator ) sent me a beautiful die cut snowflake with one of my SU orders and I have recycled it for this card. I hope she doesn't mind........if you are offended Lizy I will put it back together!!

I hope that you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by.  TTFN.
