Hello and happy Wednesday!
I 'think' todays image is from the Joanna Sheen 'The Gruffies & Happy Hoppers' cd rom (I really should write on the paper once printed out!)
The image, backing paper and sentiment all came from the same cd rom.
The corners were punched out using my EK success punch on craft card.
I'm very impressed with myself for using my sewing machine again to stitch around the edges. All was going well until I came to the top edge where it went a bit wonky so I slapped on the sentiment to cover up the worst of it!!
I also used Glossy accents on the ice cream but it doesn't show up on the photo.

A pretty card. I like the 'stitched' edges and the sentiment doesn't look out of place where you put it. I also like that gold ribbon!

ReplyDeleteHi Eve
ReplyDeleteA great card and great stitching too.
I had to smile to myself the other day when I saw some stamps to imitate stitching. They had loose and knotted threads everywhere .. .. but they looked wonderful in their own quirky way. No way could we replicate them.

ReplyDeleteHi Eve
ReplyDeleteI really thought I had commented on this lovely creation .. .. but can't see it so will go again.
A great fun image and beautiful colours and papers. Love what you have done with your ribbon too.
The reason I remember commenting is because I thought your stitching was brilliant and I wanted to make you laugh by showing you a link to a fun and quirky stamp set by Crafters Anonymous. If our sewing came out looking like these stamps we would be really worried LOL!!!
Perhaps Mr Blogger didn't like me adding a link in my comment.. .. but if you search for Crafters Anonymous Stitches you should find it.
Hope you had a good weekend.
Love and hugs
Jules xoxo
