Strawberry Yummy Tilda

Good evening all you lovely blog people!

Another scorcher today which I spent mostly card making - bliss!

I know that I should probably be out in the sun making the most of it but I was more than happy inside crafting. Yesterday I sorted out all of my hoard into some sort of order. I don't have my own craft room but have 'cupboards' in the dinning room. It was so nice today to be able to see where everything was without having to search through boxes to find it in the last one!  Now all I have to do is put everything back in it's right place each time..... Mmmmm!

Here's a card that I made today:

 



I used Papermania 'The Little Cake Shoppe' papers, Promarkers and Glossy Accents.

 

Two things that I learnt today was that to always cut your stamped image BEFORE you decoupage or else you squash it! And secondly some decoupage glues react with Promarkers and make them darker. Grrrrr! So I had to decoupage on top of my decoupage!!

 

Anyway enough waffling as I will try to get another post done in a minute.

Sparkly Bubbles

Pheewwie - what a scorcher of a day today! A cool swimming pool in the back garden would be nice.

I have taken over the dinning room this afternoon with my card making with the doors wide open. I dream that one day I can have my own craft room where I can make as much mess as I like and not pack it all away!

This is what I made:

Aren't they just soo cute!
The stamp is Penny Black 'Bubbles 'n Squeak' coloured with Promarkers . Glossy Accents with glamour dust sprinkled on the bubbles. The sentiment tags are LOTV.

I'm off now to have something cool and refreshing to drink, I should be hoovering and polishing but it is much too hot for that. It's a pity these little mice couldn't come around and clean up for me!

Anyway I will keep dreaming of my craft room and a cleaner.

Happy Birthday Mum

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying the weather.

I don't know where this week has gone. My youngest son has been on a school trip to Rome and I have really missed him. But he is back now and he had a lovely time.

Today's card is for my mum's birthday:

It is not clear on the photo but the image is shiny with ultra thick embossing powder on it.
The stamp is from Butterfly Kisses 'Beauty', the paper is Prima- Botanical and the butterfly is Stampin Up Papillon Potpurri. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

I would like to enter this into Sketch Saturday  Challenge - follow the sketch ( 20 hours left ).

I always feel a bit odd entering a personal birthday card into a challenge but I need a sketch sometimes to make a card. Anyway that's what challenges are for aren't they? I think perhaps that it's just me that's odd!

Hi there.

What another glorious sunny day - long may it last.

I am not mad, honest but I have made a Christmas card for today's post:

The stamp is of course Penny Black and the papers are Lili of the Valley - Country Lady.
I have coloured with Promarkers and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash. Oh yes Glossy Accents strikes again!

So now that I have made one card ready for Christmas it would be a good idea to make a few more so that I will not be pulling my hair out come the big day. It's a good idea anyway!

Arty Farty Handbag!

Hello everyone.

I hope that you have had some beautiful sunshine today - I have!

Something a little bit different today, a handbag card.

I used a template from Arty Farty Designs, then embossed it with a Stampin Up folder. The button and pearls are from my stash.

It made a nice change from colouring and shock horror there is no Glossy Accents!
 I was going to stamp and heat emboss a design on the handbag but I always think it is a bit of a faff getting it all out. I know I am lazy!!
 I think that I will try a different style handbag next.

Hello everyone,

it's Friday tomorrow Woohoo!

Tonight's card is a Penny Black image 'Here's looking at you'. The papers are Docrafts Wellington. I have used nail heads and of course Glossy Accents on the lenses.

I love Penny Black - all of them are just so cute! I have just splashed out on a few new ones to add to my collection from J & C Creations. They have got a sale on at the moment with 40% of some stamps. The delivery was very fast as well so I would definitely recommend a look.
