Chocolate

Good afternoon all.

I didn't post yesterday as I got up to date with my huge mountain of ironing. Doesn't it feel good when it's finished - just a shame it doesn't last long. Still enough moaning, today's card is made using a Creative Expressions stamp set called chocolate.

 

 

Now the perfectionist in me says that a smoother brown card would have looked more like chocolate but hey ho!

I heart Tilda

Hi there.

Quite a sunny day here in Devon but I have a huge mound of ironing to tackle in a minute. When I get up to date with it I say to myself that I'll try and do a bit each day HUH! Not happening!

Anyway today's card is the lovely Lollipop Tilda. I like the fact that because she is licking a lolly you can't see that she has no mouth! But because the stamps are so detailed and gorgeous I do love them.
She is sitting on Tin boxes which have course got Glossy Accents on them!

The banner die is by La La Land.

As I have two boys I think that Tilda is my substitute girl!

Home to nest

Good evening all.

Tonight's card is made with another new Stampin up set called Take Care. I have been waiting for the right time to use it. It is for Friday Sketch challenge ( 8 days left ).  I have rotated the sketch a bit, I hope that's allowed!
The backing paper eggs are Docrafts Home to nest.

I also used a Stampin up wood grain embossing folder and there is some Glossy Accents on the blue egg.

I wish that there was a Stampin up challenge blog - that would be cool!

Summer Silhouettes

Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone.

Shame about the weather today but never mind - no work.

I am so thankful that the king or queen of blog land has not taken my blog away from me in my long absence!  I am a very bad blogger and need to pull my socks up but with it being half term this week I have a few days off work so hopefully lots of crafting ahead.

Today's card I made with one of my new Stampin up sets called Summer Silhouettes. The border is punched with a Fiskars punch.

I really like this set and plan to use it lots!

Well I must dash now as Father in law and auntie are coming around for roast chicken.

Chocolate and banana cake with peanut butter frosting

Hi all.

No card tonight I'm afraid because I got too engrossed in my housework and baking today. Here is  the cake that I made:

I got the recipe from Lorraine's Cake Club ages ago and it tastes Divine!

Please excuse the 1980's plate! LOL.

It is a good job that I took a picture as when my hubby and eldest son get home from football it won't last long.

All loved up

Hey there.

It is a beautiful evening here in Devon and the sun is shinning brightly.

I'm 'all loved up' with a Forever Friends stamp tonight. The papers are do crafts Wellington I think.
Not quite happy with the crooked sentiment but I think that's how it's supposed to be. Also the kisses smudged a bit when I stamped them so I outlined them with a white gel pen. Mmm not sure!

I have coloured him as usual with promarkers.

I hope tomorrow that I can get some card making done so until then -

I'm distressed!

Hello there.

Today's card has a distressed background using dusty concord and milled lavender Tim Holtz ink. Isn't it funny how trends change - I remember when distressing was all the rage!
I then stamped IndigoBlu Blazing Poppies added liquid pearls, stickles and glitter. Punched some butterflies, lace with seam binding. Voila!

So that's it short and sweet today.
