More baubles!

Hello everyone - it's Friday Whoooo Hoooo!!

A short and sweet post for me today as I am running late AGAIN!

Here is my card for today:

I punched out some circles from snippets of white and silver card and covered them with sequins then used a Stampin Up modern label punch to make the hooks. ( I scored and made a hole in them ) So that's it!

I hope that you have a fab weekend and thanks for stopping by. TTFN

Christmas fairies

Good evening everyone. I hope that you are all safe and well.

I have had a lovely lazy day today and made this card:

It was a bit of a cheat as the background was already printed by Lavinia stamps.
I stamped some leaves, mushrooms and the fairies some of which were Lavinia and some were Card-io. Next I stamped the baubles ( Card-io stamps ) then I added Glossy Accents and drew the strings. Finally I added Fluffy stuff and lots of glitter!

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by. TTFN

Christmas tube tree!

Hello everyone.

I was shopping the other day in a major supermarket when I saw a Christmas card very similar to the one I have made. Let's hope that the Christmas card police won't come knocking on my door for copying!!

I used lots of snippets of paper and curled them around a pen which looking at it now could have been a bit narrower but there could always be something wrong with my cards!

The weather forecast for the weekend is saying that there is going to be a bad storm in the South West, I think a little cosy crafting is in order!

Thanks for stopping by and hope that you have a lovely weekend.  TTFN

My first attempt with Distress Markers

Hello there.

Well I tell a lie because it is my second attempt with Distress Markers as my first was rubbish!!
I can't say that I am particularly pleased with this attempt but I suppose practise makes perfect. The trouble is that I am an impatient crafter and expect to be able to good straight away!  When you see other peoples blogs and their work is fantastic you ask yourself 'why can't I do it like that'.
Anyway here it is:

I used Versafine black ink to stamp the Tilda but it looks like it has bled which doesn't look nice :(

Enough moaning it's only a card!!

I hope that the weather is nice to you and you have had a fab day. TTFN

Challenges:

Congratulations card

Hi there all you lovely blog people!

I hope that you are well and have had a good day. It has been a lovely sunny afternoon here in Devon - 'ansome!!

I have made a card using Clearly Besotted stamps but it took much longer than it should have to finish. I did use a Sketch but things just didn't flow very well, I think that maybe it was because I didn't use any patterned paper to inspire me. Or maybe Mr Mojo is playing hide and seek! Anyway here it is:

The embossing folder came free with a magazine and I have used Stampin Up edgelits dies ( Finishing Touches ).

I hope that you like my card and thanks for stopping by. Friday tomorrow - Wooop-wooo!!

Challenges:
Sketch Saturday - my second entry ( you can enter 3 times )  22 hours left.
Clearly Besotted Challenge   Colour Inspiration or Autumn Theme ( I have used colours ) 7 days left.

Frosty Forms

I'm back with my second card for today made using my new dies called 'Frosty Forms'. I think that I will get alot of use out of this set as it is gorgeous!

I have used snippets of paper for the presents and the sentiment which is cut from a sheet of vellum.

I must dash now as the computer is needed for my sons homework!!  Wouldn't it be nice to have one each!
