Sparkly Star Dance

Good evening all and Happy Saturday to you!

I have had a lovely play today and stamped and embossed lots of variations of this card:

I used:
Penny Black 'Star Dance', WOW! Glamour Green Embossing Glitter WS40R, Josy Rose Nail Heads, Pink Petticoat sentiment and SU punches.

I now have lots of different colours of this stamp for more quick cards.
What I have learnt today......it is much easier to put embossing powder into takeaway tubs rather than try and get it all back into the pots!!

Right off to watch all the Saturday night T.V and slob out!

Stitched Sweet Blossom

Hi there.

My card today has got REAL stitching on it!!  A while ago I bought a teeny tiny sewing machine especially for my cards. It is so dinky it looks like a toy one but as I won't be making or mending anything on it I thought it would be ideal. I was quite surprised as my stitching is actually quite straight so with a bit more practise it might not look too bad.

Another gloomy day here so not a good picture I'm afraid.

Items used:
Sewing machine!, The Hobby House 'Sweet Blossom' (pre coloured image), Pearls, Pink Petticoat sentiment, SU punch and butterfly die, Raspberry Road paper, Ranger liquid pearls, MS border punch and Glamour dust.  Don't know what the make of the background paper is -sorry!

So it's Friday tomorrow nearly the weekend yippee!

Dandelion Clock Fairy

Good morning blog land!

I have a LOTV card to share with you today which I was hoping that the sun would shine on and show off the glitter but no such luck!

Looking at it now I think that maybe I should have added some flowers. I usually struggle to make a CAS card so perhaps I have finally got the hang of it!

I'm off to do the boring food shopping in a bit, I think that I might go back to being lazy and get it delivered that way I can spend more time crafting - YAY!

Well I had a lovely 'play' today and rather than wait until tomorrow I thought that I would post my second card today.......

Full of Surprises

Good morning all. I hope that you are having a lovely weekend. It is a glorious sunny day here in Devon - lovely.

Here is a card that I made yesterday:

Items used:
Clearly Besotted 'Full of Surprises', Sizzix E.F, Stampin Up 'Finishing touches' Edgelits and ink, Gell pen. I have added a few layers with decoupage.
A while ago I bought some little Stampin Up ink spots which are about the same size as Vera Color ink pads. I bought the small one to test them and they stamp brilliantly. They have such lovely names like 'Rich Razzleberry' and Pumpkin Pie' - fabulous!! They are now on my 'wish list' in the big size. Which reminds me I must get a longer piece of paper for my 'wish list' !!

I have a beef and tomato casserole cooking in my slow cooker so I can indulge in some more crafting today - Yay!!  ( Stuff the housework! )

Before and after Glossy Accents!

It's a bit nippy here in Devon but sunny so that's O.K.

I have taken a picture of today's card before I added Glossy Accents to decide which one I like the best:

Because I love Glossy Accents so much I think that I prefer the after!
The stamp set that I used is very old by Dimension Fourth and I also sprinkled on some Glamour Dust ( probably a bit to much! )

Frosty Forms

Good evening lovely blog people!

It has been a busy old week for me but today I finally got some crafty time and I made this card:

 

I have only just noticed that my snow embossing folder is the wrong way around!! DOH!

 

I used Spellbinders Frosty Forms, DigiStamp Boutique sentiment and Stampendous! Shaved Ice.

 

Not sure now if I like the rough edge to the card but what's done is done!

 

So that's yet another Christmas card under my belt which makes me feel a little smug!
