House Mouse decoupage card

Hi there, I hope that it's sunny wherever you are 🌞!  I have made a House Mouse card today:

I printed the images from the House Mouse decoupage CD Rom and then cut them out on my scan and cut machine - I absolutely love this machine! It saves so much time fussy cutting and cuts out such tiny images that I couldn't do with my scissors ✂. I layered all the elements with foam pads and added some glitter. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat (very sadly closed). To finish off I machine stitched around the edges and used a corner punch and heart stickers.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge -your-favourite-style-simple-or-fussy-why? - this is very easy for me as I CAN NOT make a CAS card for toffees!! I just have to add one more thing....!!

Spellbinders Flower Cart - Mothers day card

A change from a House-Mouse card today:

I have broken my no new craft items spend with this die from Spellbinders - Flower Cart. In fairness I had saved lots of pennies so I thought why not! I used Make & Create Vintage Romance papers and Crea-Nest-Lies - XXL ticket square die. I wanted to make the sign into a chalk board so I heat embossed a Stampin Up! sentiment (Heartfelt hello's) in white embossing powder and then added a bit of chalk around it. I cut the flowers from lots of snippets of coloured card and added Stickles and liquid pearls to the centres. To finish off I added some candy dots - remember those?!

I didn't end up using the pink one on top but used other green snippets not photographed!

500th Snippets playground challenge!

Miss Di and Sarn are celebrating a whopping 500th SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE
Here is my:

To enter the challenge you must use 'snippets' of paper in an effort to use all those bits we never throw away. Also as it's a very special 500th challenge the theme is celebration.
Huge congratulations Di and Sarn for running the challenge and making it a fun and friendly place to visit.

Here are the snippets that I used for todays card:

This card is very similar to my previous card but one! I used the Spellbinders Happy Hour dies, The lovely studio sentiment (sadly no longer trading) Die-namics wonky stitch rectangle die, Pretty Pink Posh sprinkles and various stars and sequins in the shaker part, Acetate, silver mirror board and glitter card. I also used dew drops for the bubbles.

I would also like to enter:

Criss cross House-Mouse card

Hello 👋 todays card is a Criss cross House-Mouse card!

I used Joanne Sheen House-Mouse cd rom for the image - not sure which one as I printed it out a long time ago - sorry!
SU lots of labels dies and punches for the hearts
Spellbinders S5-216 dies (for the top tags) and I used a tiny heart snippet from this die!
Stamperia Pink Christmas papers
Papermania Lucy Cromwell sentiment stamp (love this one!)
gems and ribbon
I very bravely machine stitched around the edges but don't look too closely as its very wonky!

Spellbinders Perfect Pies Dies

Hi there!

Miss Di over at Pixies snippets playground is having a very special celebration. It has been a whopping 13 years since she took over the snippets playground from the lovely Jules-always with a heart blog ðŸ’–
The challenge is to use all of our snippets of paper which we seem to accumulate when making our cards because as crafters we don't throw anything away.
Here is my card:

I used:
Spellbinders Perfect Pies Dies
Promarkers for adding definition to the dies
Craft Consortium papers
Stickles
Glossy Accents
Label maker for 'sweetie'
gems
Amazon dies for the lemon
doily

Challenges:
Simon says stamp Monday challenge something new (mine is the dies)
Pixies snippets playground challenge-497. must use snippets - here are the ones I used:

Di and her partner in crime Sarn make the challenge such a lovely friendly place to visit and work very hard in trying to keep everyone in line with their homework (using their snippets!) and I would like to congratulate them 🥳🎉🎈 - may the fun continue!

From the heart

Hi there!
Today's card has no stamping or colouring - just fussy cutting:

The image is from Nitwits collection 'from the heart' and I printed it out several times so that I could fussy cut various elements to add dimension. The background papers and card were from my snippets pile and I added ribbon (also a snippet!), a doily, pearls, stickles and glossy accents. As my sewing machine is playing up I used a tool (don't know what its called!) to punch holes around the edges of the paper and drew lines with a white gel pen but I don't think it shows up very well.

Snippets Playground Challenge

Hi there,
todays card is for the Snippets playground challenge where Miss Di and Sarn encourage everyone to use up all the snippets and offcuts from previous cards.
Here's what I used (mostly from my previous card):

and here's my card:

Now there is a tale to tell with this card!
I started off with an unbranded die from Amazon and as I've had trouble in the past with sticking down intricate dies I though that I would try using a sheet of 'Stick it' adhesive. Well after reading the instructions I managed to put the sheet on the wrong side of the mint coloured card - TWICE!!! 😖rather than waste the die cut I stuck the two pieces together to give it some more dimension and because the adhesive was also on the top piece I decided to cover it in glamour dust glitter. After all that faffing I couldn't be bothered to die cut another piece so I just stick it to my base card with a glue pen! But I suppose it was a bit of a happy accident because I quite like the look of it 😊 I finished the card off with some Stampin Up gems and managed to step away from the card - no Glossy Accents or the kitchen sink!

I can see me using this die for lot's of different cards and colour combinations but hopefully next time I will put the Stick It sheet on the right way!

Snippets playground celebration

Hello there and happy Saturday!
Todays card is for a special celebration over at Pixies snippets playground. where Di is celebrating 12 years of running the challenge of using all of your snippets.

I used snippets from my previous Penny Black card and coloured with Promarkers.
I first saw this stamp over at the super talented Janes blog - thecraftbucket. But I cheated and actually bought this stamp from that big company beginning with A where we get everything from! Now I wouldn't advise anyone to buy this stamp from there as it is clearly a 'nock off' stamp and is not very good quality - lesson learned!!

Congratulations to Di and Sarn who make the snippets playground a fun and friendly place to visit.
