Good afternoon all.

I didn't post yesterday as I got up to date with my huge mountain of ironing. Doesn't it feel good when it's finished - just a shame it doesn't last long. Still enough moaning, today's card is made using a Creative Expressions stamp set called chocolate.

Now the perfectionist in me says that a smoother brown card would have looked more like chocolate but hey ho!
Hope you are well and thanks for stopping by.

I heart Tilda

Hi there.

Quite a sunny day here in Devon but I have a huge mound of ironing to tackle in a minute. When I get up to date with it I say to myself that I'll try and do a bit each day HUH! Not happening!

Anyway today's card is the lovely Lollipop Tilda. I like the fact that because she is licking a lolly you can't see that she has no mouth! But because the stamps are so detailed and gorgeous I do love them.
She is sitting on Tin boxes which have course got Glossy Accents on them!

The banner die is by La La Land.

As I have two boys I think that Tilda is my substitute girl!

That's all folks, ta ta for now.

Home to nest

Good evening all.

Tonight's card is made with another new Stampin up set called Take Care. I have been waiting for the right time to use it. It is for Friday Sketch challenge ( 8 days left ).  I have rotated the sketch a bit, I hope that's allowed!
The backing paper eggs are Docrafts Home to nest.

I also used a Stampin up wood grain embossing folder and there is some Glossy Accents on the blue egg.

I wish that there was a Stampin up challenge blog - that would be cool!

Hope you likey.  Ta ta for now.

Summer Silhouettes

Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone.

Shame about the weather today but never mind - no work.

I am so thankful that the king or queen of blog land has not taken my blog away from me in my long absence!  I am a very bad blogger and need to pull my socks up but with it being half term this week I have a few days off work so hopefully lots of crafting ahead.

Today's card I made with one of my new Stampin up sets called Summer Silhouettes. The border is punched with a Fiskars punch.

I really like this set and plan to use it lots!

Well I must dash now as Father in law and auntie are coming around for roast chicken.

Hope you are all happy and healthy.

Chocolate and banana cake with peanut butter frosting

Hi all.

No card tonight I'm afraid because I got too engrossed in my housework and baking today. Here is  the cake that I made:

I got the recipe from Lorraine's Cake Club ages ago and it tastes Divine!

Please excuse the 1980's plate! LOL.

It is a good job that I took a picture as when my hubby and eldest son get home from football it won't last long.

Hope that you are all well and had a lovely day.   Hopefully back soon with a card.

All loved up

Hey there.

It is a beautiful evening here in Devon and the sun is shinning brightly.

I'm 'all loved up' with a Forever Friends stamp tonight. The papers are do crafts Wellington I think.
Not quite happy with the crooked sentiment but I think that's how it's supposed to be. Also the kisses smudged a bit when I stamped them so I outlined them with a white gel pen. Mmm not sure!

I have coloured him as usual with promarkers.

I hope tomorrow that I can get some card making done so until then -

I'm distressed!

Hello there.

Today's card has a distressed background using dusty concord and milled lavender Tim Holtz ink. Isn't it funny how trends change - I remember when distressing was all the rage!
I then stamped IndigoBlu Blazing Poppies added liquid pearls, stickles and glitter. Punched some butterflies, lace with seam binding. Voila!

So that's it short and sweet today.

Thanks for visiting.

Chubby Chums

Hello to anyone who has not completely given up on me ever entering blog world again!

Note to self - MUST try harder to blog more often. The trouble is life just gets in the way sometimes!

When I actually make time to craft I love it and think to myself that I should do it more often so prioritising is probably the way to go.

Tonight's card is Paper Smooches stamps AGAIN!

I used Chubby Chums and Geo-graphic sets. The banner is a La la land die and it wouldn't be complete without Glossy Accents for the eyes. (I am not cured yet!)
It has been a lovely sunny day here today and I hope my day off tomorrow is the same.
Hope you are all well.

Molly Blooms Bicycle

Good evening - another late one for me.
It has been a disgustingly wet day today and now the wind is howling -yuk!

They say that you never forget how to ride a bike but 'they' forget to tell you how fit you have to be!
The last time that I rode one my legs were like jelly afterwards.

I do like the look of this bike, very lady like:

The papers that I used are K & Company, Sparkly Sweet.

Hopefully tomorrow is going to be sunny and dry.

Giveaway at The Ribbon Girl

Good evening all!

No card tonight to share I'm afraid but I just thought that I'd tell you about this weeks The Ribbon Girls giveaway.  Lookie here:

All you have to do is leave them a comment, mention the giveaway on your blog with a link back to
them and that's it -  Easy peasy!  Good luck.

Hopefully I'll be back with a card tomorrow - my Glossy Accents is beginning to feel very neglected and I'm starting to get the shakes!

Hope you have had a lovely weekend despite the weather!

The Owl and the Pussycat

Good evening everyone.

I managed to squeeze in this card this afternoon. Now you have to bear with me on this one - I made it for Paper Smooches Challenge where the theme is 'Nautical'. As I don't have any PS nautical stamps I racked my brains and came up with 'The Owl and the Pussycat' went to SEA! That's how mad I am! It looks a bit like a 5 year old made it but never mind:

I used Paper Smooches 'Chubby Chums' stamps, embossing folders and stickles. Glossy Accents on the eyes!
Hope you don't think that it's too naff!
Must dash as I've got to put the chickens to bed! - the older ones are still standing at the coop door not letting the younger ones in!

Birthday Girl

Good evening all - a very late one for me YAWN! ( Computer updates ) Yawn again!

I bought this Wild Rose Studio 'Birthday Girl' today and just had to use it. Isn't she cute!

I used Wild Rose Studio DPs and a sheet of kraft paper. I also used stickles on the candles. I had to wrap some twine around the top and bottom because my papers weren't straight! At least I owned up to my mistake - covered it up yes but owned up!
Now you might be shocked now but I haven't used any Glossy Accents - there is hope for me.
If only I had added a Happy Birthday sentiment I could have entered more challenges but I was too tired. Tomorrow is another day and more challenges await!
I think it would have been nice if this 'Birthday Girl' was given a name. Anyway enough waffling must go to bed!

Somewhere over the rainbow

Hello blog land!

I had a lovely day off today and the weather was still lovely. Didn't see one of these though:

I used a Sizzix cloud die and embossed them, Parker alphabet dies and strips of coloured paper underneath. 3 gems and that's it!
I would like to enter it into  Addicted to CAS challenge the theme is 'Rainbow' ! ( 10 days left )

Like to live here?

Good evening all, hope you've had a glorious day!

Would you like to live here:

I think it looks jolly nice! How peaceful would it be - bliss!

I used Hobby Art Tuscany clear set of scene it stamps and the sunflower die is by CC Designs.

Hubby and I have the day off tomorrow so it's down to a nearby tea rooms to have some of their out of this world sticky toffee fudge cake. I asked for the recipe once but they wouldn't give it to me - meanies!

Hope you've had a lovely bank holiday.

Penny Black again!

Hey there, happy Sunny Sunday to you!

I was up early as usual today to let the chickens out - they are still not playing nicely! Does anyone know of a chicken whisperer/counsellor?!   The advise that I have had from the farm where I bought them is to 'leave them to it' - not nice to see though.

Anyway it's Penny Black AGAIN today sorry!  I made it a while ago but haven't got around to sharing - at least I think that I haven't. It's got to the stage where it's a bit of a blur!

I'm going to enter this one into a lot of challenges as I'm quite pleased with it.
The die and stamp are by Whimsy and the jar has got yes you've guessed it GLOSSY ACCENTS on it!   I think I'm addicted.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Hope you are having some lovely sunshine. Aren't Bank holiday weekends fab - knowing that you have an extra day off.

Paper smooches today. Not one of my favourite cards but hey ho!

I did actually use wait for it .......Glossy Accents on the cup but you can't see it in the photo.
I think that the background stamp is supposed to look distressed but I can't do distressed!

Hope you have a brilliant weekend.

Baking Tilda

Good evening all.
I didn't get around to posting yesterday as I got carried away with the gardening. It's so nice to see what you've done in the garden unlike housework where it doesn't take long to get messy again.

Today's card is Baking Tilda which took a little longer than I would have liked but I'm quite pleased with her.

I do wish that Tilda's were given a mouth though. I have previously tried to draw one on but it never looks right.
Hope you have had a splendid day!
