Penny Black Christmas Cards

Hello everyone.

Today I put some of my handmade cards into cellophane wrappers with envelopes, ready to sell - Phew!  I didn't realise how many cards that I actually have!!  - Lesson learnt.....in future when I make a card put it straight into cellophane instead of spending half the day doing it!

On to today's cards:

I bought this Hedgie stamp second hand a while ago and it was heavily stained so it didn't stamp clearly. I tried some Stampin Up! Stazon Cleaner on it and now it's stamps perfectly :)

Items used: 1.
Penny Black Snowscape 4203K
Anita's Classic Christmas Blue papers
DigiStamp Boutique sentiment
Glamour Dust
Charm and ribbon from stash
                  2.
Penny Black Xmas Kiss 2754H
ProMarkers
Pink Petticoat sentiment
Kaisercraft Christmas papers
SB Nesties
XCut ovals (must treat myself to SB ovals as they don't quite match up)
ribbon from stash

So that's 2 Christmas cards to add to my stash thanks to The Rudolph Day challenge.
As the second card is CAS I will also enter Simon Says Stamp Blog Challenge.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and TTFN.

Perfectly Penned

Good morning all.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend - shame about the weather. Who stole the sunshine?!

Here is my card for today which I thought would be good for a male!:

I used lots of snippets of card which have been embossed ( saved from a previous card ). Then I punched the ends with SU hexagon punch which saved measuring or die cutting. The sentiment is SU 'Perfectly Penned' stamped with 'Soft Suede' ink pad and the card base is SU 'Crumb Cake'.

I hope to squeeze in some craft time today after I've done some dreaded housework! Wouldn't it be so nice to have a cleaner...cook....gardener....laundry service............etc..,etc.,   sigh!

Thanks for stopping by today - TTFN.

Forever Young - Take 1

Good afternoon lovely blog people!

I have two cards to share with you today both for the Less is More challenge where the theme is 'one layer - shadow stamping'.

I messed this card up in a couple of places but I think that I managed to cover up my mistakes!
The card originally had the sentiment stamped at the bottom but I smudged it so I chopped it off!

I used:   ( please click on the pink links for further information )

sentiment-

Field Flowers                                               Old Olive ( sponged )

Subtles collection cardstock                            Stampin Trimmer for scoring and cutting

Sadly the Stampin Up set 'Forever Young' is retired but there is a digital download here.
I also used Liquid Pearls and a corner rounder.

So that's entry numero uno - back in a bit with another.
