Butterfly, Turquoise, Sketched, Handbags!!

Good evening all.
Have you melted yet?!!  I would like to stay in my car with the air conditioning on!

Todays card has combined a few challenges:

Items used:
LOTV 'Handbags' stamp and sentiment tag
ProMarkers
Dovecraft 'Blank Canvas' papers
Stampin Up butterfly + punch
Woodware small butterfly punch
Gel pen and liquid pearls

Here's a strange question:
Do you know of anyone who has still got any baby teeth. The reason I asked is because my youngest son had an appointment today at the orthodontist. Apparently he still has one top baby tooth and the dentist says that this will fall out one day. He advices to extract said tooth and another on the opposite side to even them out and then close the gaps with a brace :(    (top and bottom)
My eldest son also had a brace when he was younger and although he is now glad that his teeth are nice and straight it was not a very nice experience.
Anyway it would be nice to hear from anyone who is still munching on baby teeth!!

My apologies for the long post today and I hope that I haven't sent you to sleep!
Thanks for visiting.

New Home Card

Good evening all.

A friend asked me if I would make a new home card so here it is:
I actually cased THIS CARD by the lovely Jules (always with a heart). I have asked here permission and she has kindly agreed for me to share it.
If I had to say which was my favourite blog it would have to be Jules' because her cards are always amazing and she is an all round lovely person and is always willing to give help and advice - thanks Jules xx.

For my card I used:
Pink Petticoat image
Computer sentiment
Papermania Chatsworth papers
Stampin Up border punch and Rhinestones
Ribbon, twine and charm from stash

I would like to enter the Sketch and Stash Challenge  where I followed number 82 sketch --

Love this sketch and will use it again.
The second part of the challenge is to state your newest or neglected item well mine would have to be
the Chatsworth papers as I have only used one sheet before. The reason for this is that they are so gorgeous I don't want to cut them up!!

So that's my card for today thanks for stopping by and hope you have a lovely weekend.

Less Is More - Take two!

I'm back with my second post for the Less Is More challenge:

Here I used a leaf stamp from Inkylicious and sentiment from Clearly Besotted.

I have one more idea in mind which I will have a go at unless someone else thinks of it first!!
This was a great challenge to think outside of the box and I enjoyed having a play.

Just before I go here is a picture of my youngest son taken on Thursday night (he is on the right).
It was his school prom and him and his mate arrived in this car - cool or what!!
So that's my share for today - thanks for stopping by and hope you have a lovely evening.

Less Is More - take one!

Good afternoon lovely blog people!
Just in case you forgot my name is Eve!! - my apologies for abandoning this blog for such a long time but I have been posting on my other blog: Eve Marie Makes.
I really should try and work out a  more regular posting schedule for both blogs.

Anyway here is todays card:

It is my first entry for the Less Is More challenge where the theme is one layer 'Adapt a fingerprint'.
(I used my thumb and finger :) )

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted and the snowflake is from Card-io.

I will be back in a bit with my second entry.
