This One...

Good afternoon all.
I have been posting on my other blog for a while and thought that it was about time that I paid some attention to this one..... so....
Here is my Penny Black card:

Items used:
Penny Black 'This One...'  3923H
Marianne Craftables die
Sweet Pea paper by Kaisercraft
Stampin Up Border Punch and  Blendabilities
Glossy Accents
Pink Petticoat sentiment

I'm not really happy with the layout of this card even though I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday - sorry ladies!!! - it's me not you!!
Perhaps it's the papers that don't work together?
Oh well my hedgie looks happy enough!!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a fabulous day.

  10. This is so sweet, Eve! Your coloring is just perfect and it's fantastic the way you glossed the hearts!!

You asked in a recent comment about a card and since you are a "no reply" blogger, I'll answer here. It was the birthday card for Anita. The card stock has a ton of texture and you wondered how I was able to stamp on it. The answer is, I don't know how it works with that paper, but it does. It has a slight coating and you'd think with the texture and the coating, you couldn't apply a wet image, but it just goes on and dries fast and fantastically. Unfortunately, the paper is only made in the UK and it costs $25 just to ship 100 sheets of it to the USA!! Sigh. Anita brought me some sheets when I met her in October last year and it almost would have been better if she hadn't because I love it so much, lol!

Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Darnell

  11. It's easy to fix the "no-reply." What it means is that when you leave me a comment (or anyone) it comes into my inbox and when I click "reply" to try and send you a private message in email, instead of your email address popping up in the compose box, the address says your name followed by . Not only can I not send you a private reply, but lots of times I type an answer to someone and hit send and don't even NOTICE that they are "no reply." Stupid Blogger takes that email and doesn't even send you back an "unable to deliver" notice, so you never know.

Funny story (NOT): when I first started blogging, I conscientiously replied to every comment and it took me THREE MONTHS before one day I noticed that "no reply" on the address line! What a waste of my time!! I don't understand why Blogger doesn't let you know when you hit send to a no-reply blogger!

So. To fix it so people can email you, you can watch a great tutorial by Heather Hudson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo80Ilm0IFA. If that URL doesn't work, just find "Heather Hudson" on YouTube and search "How to NOT be a No-Reply Blogger." If you can't find her, I can walk you through it. My email is listed on my Profile Page: it's darnell dot knauss at gmail dot com. (If you type that in a message to me, then I can reply because I'll have your address when I hit reply.)

Having said all that, maybe you don't want to change it, and that's fine, too.

I saw your candy, but I didn't comment because I already have so much unused schtuff - I'd rather leave the chance to others who don't have as much. Thank you, though!! Hugs, Darnell
