Hi there!

Here is a card that I made using my Wellington CD Rom:

I used a decoupage image:

I also used Glossy Accents and SU candy dots, ribbon and wooden embellishment.

The sentiment is Woodware 'make a wish' stamp set.

CUTE UNICORN

Good evening.

Today's card is made using DigiStamp Boutique 'CUTE UNICORN' image which is only £0.42 for this weekend only:

I have a major problem with my digital images, since buying a new printer I can't use my Promarkers as the black outline ink smudges.......Nooooo! If anyone knows how to fix this I would be very grateful!

So I used pencils to colour the image, Pink Petticoat papers and Glossy Accents and glitter.

The sentiment is Woodware 'Make a Wish' and the tinsel and silver cord are from my stash.

I made the card base myself but please don't look too closely as it is not very even!!

I have made another card using my Crafters Companion 'Dowton Abbey' CD Rom:

I also used a piece of Forever Friends dotty paper and Glossy Accents. The ribbon is from my stash.

HAPPY TIMES

Good evening.

I have made a card for this weeks LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE 'Perfect holiday':

I paper pieced the caravan:

When our boys were younger we used to stay in a caravan in Cornwall on holiday - happy times!

I had an idea in my head to create a card with a photo on it so this is what I came up with.

I used:

Stampin' Up! 'You're Sublime stamp set (without the sentiment), 'On Film' Framelits dies, dotty paper, punch for the clouds and flowers.

Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die,

Label maker for the sentiment.

Looking at it now perhaps I should have made the photo frame a different colour to make it stand out more - what do you think?

Back to the drawing board!

GUY GREETINGS

I'm back with my second entry to the LESS IS MORE 'Vehicles' challenge:

This time I used Stampin' Up! Guy Greetings stamp set and Arrows embossing folder (retired). I sponged the embossed section to try and make it look like a tyre tread.

So there are my CAS cards for today - I know that I still have a long way to go to get it right but I will keep trying!

SKY IS THE LIMIT

Good afternoon!

Here is the first of two cards which I am going to enter the LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE 'Vehicles':

I used Stampin' Up! The Sky Is The Limit stamp set and World Traveler embossing folder (both retired). I only stamped up part of the planes 'contrails' - had to look this word up as I didn't know what to call it! Apparently.....Those white streaks planes leave behind are actually artificial clouds. They're called contrails, which is a shortened version of the phrase “condensation trail." Airplane engines produce exhaust, just like car engines do. As hot exhaust gases escape from a plane, the water vapor in the fumes hits the air. So there you go!!!

Anyway I digress - then I coloured in my contrails with a chalk marker and circled my sentiment with a Stampin' Write marker but felt that it was too bold so I tried to soften it slightly with the chalk marker. This probably ruined the card but I will be back with my second entry shortly.

CAS HAPPY HOPPERS CARD

Today's card is an attempt at a CAS card:

I used:

The Gruffies and Happy Hoppers CDROM image coloured with pencils and Glossy Accents for the melon. Pink Petticoat sentiment punched with SU punches. Papertrey Ink embossing folder and SU edgelits die.

Challenges:

Less is more 'tropical fruits'

House-Mouse challenge 'Christmas-in-July' or anything goes

CD Sunday challenge 'anything goes'

I am still determined to conquer the CAS look but it is soooo difficult!! I won't tell you how many times I moved things around on this card!
