The papers were from an Etsy download called 'Country Cottons'.
Glitter and Glossy Accents.
Corner punch, gems and ribbon
SU punches for sentiment
craft card and my sewing machine to stitch around the edges.

House Mouse Flowers

Hello and happy Friday! I have made a House Mouse card today:

I printed this image off a long time ago but I think it was from the House Mouse decoupage CD rom.
I then cut it out on my scan and cut and layered the images with foam pads. My papers are Make & Create 'Spring time'. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat (sadly closed) and I finished off my card by machine stitching around the edges and a corner punch.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge -favourite-sketch-layout-and-why? - this is my favourite sketch for a House Mouse decoupage card because I try to focus on the main image. I like to stitch around my finished card and add corner punches (which is a handy way to cover up wonky stiches!!)

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Polkadoodles - Superhero - Little Dudes

Hi there! I had a bit of crafty time today so I decided to colour this cute chap!:

I used Polkadoodles Superhero-little-dudes-download and coloured him with Promarkers. The image comes with the cloud paper plus 2 others and the sentiment. The stars are punched from glitter card and I added Glossy accents to his boots and glitter to his shield and lightsaber. I finished off with some corner punches and machine stitched around the edge of my card.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge -do-you-prefer-brights-or-pastels-and-why? - even though today's card is quite bright I do prefer pastel colours because I think they are more subtle and not so glary!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful bank holiday weekend!

Happy birthday to you!

Hello and happy Wednesday!
I 'think' todays image is from the Joanna Sheen 'The Gruffies & Happy Hoppers' cd rom (I really should write on the paper once printed out!)

The image, backing paper and sentiment all  came from the same cd rom.
The corners were punched out using my EK success punch on craft card.
I'm very impressed with myself for using my sewing machine again to stitch around the edges. All was going well until I came to the top edge where it went a bit wonky so I slapped on the sentiment to cover up the worst of it!!
I also used Glossy accents on the ice cream but it doesn't show up on the photo.

House Mouse Easter card

Hi there and happy Easter - here is today's card:

The image is printed from the Joanna Sheen's The Gruffies and Happy Hoppers cd and the  papers are Forever Friends Spring time.

Challenges:
as you like it challenge. favourite-clean-simple-or-fussy-fancy. why? - an easy one for me definitely fussy and fancy because no matter how hard I try I cannot master the CAS look. I end up actually sitting on my hands in an attempt to not plaster my card with all the gems, pearls, ribbons and embellishments!!

Thanks for visiting and please leave a comment if you do!

House-Mouse decoupage card

Hello from a beautiful sunny Devon day 🌞

I think this image is from the House-Mouse decoupage cd and the papers are old Stampin Up!
There wasn't enough room for a sentiment so I didn't add one 😃 but I did add some of my favourite glossy accents to the strawberries to make them shine 🍓. The image is not cut out perfectly so please don't look too closely!!

House-Mouse easel card

Like all of my other House-Mouse images I printed it off a long time ago and can't remember which cd rom that I used 😞- I think it might be the Joanna Sheen triple cd. I must be more organised like the lovely Jules-always with a heart blog  . when she prints off images/papers she then puts them into folders with the name on so that everything it kept together - genius!!
The papers are Crafts Consortium and I used Glossy Accents on the jar and cherries to make them shine.

Crafter's Companion Raymond Briggs 'Father Christmas' CD,
Stampin' Up! Snowflake, gem and paper,
Trimcraft paper,
LOTV sentiment,
Glossy Accents and Stickles

I am really enjoying using CD's to make cards at the moment but there are so many CD's now on my wish list - sigh!
