Hi there!
I have made a House Mouse card today:
I have been saving my pennies for a long time and have bought a scan and cut machine - OMG - it is AMAZING!!! There is still lots to learn but from the short play that I have had with it I am blown away at the detail it can cut. I now want to cut everything in sight so there will be lots of decoupage cards to follow!!
Items used:
House Mouse decoupage cd rom
Old SU paper and card
corner punch
SU brads
Challenges:
thanks for visiting!

Eve, your card is adorable! I’m glad that you shared that close-up with all the different layers. That’s so cool that your scan and cut machine did that. I can see where you would like that. Is that a Cricut that you’re referring to? My daughter has one and loves it, and I didn’t know that it could cut images that you already have. Anyway, thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, thank you for your lovely comment.
DeleteThe machine I bought is a Brother Scan and Cut. After lots of research I decided this one would be better for me as you can scan any image (included rubber stamped images) and it cuts them out perfectly. As you can see its brilliant for decoupage images and it saves so much time fussy cutting - worth every penny in my opinion!
Thank you Eve! I have never heard of such a thing, but I can imagine that is a game changer. I will have to look into that! Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question. 😊

ReplyDeleteI keep saying "One day I'll purchase a Scan and Cut". Just for cutting around the images. No more having to purchase matching dies. I love your card. Decoupage always looks so pretty. This turned out so nice. {Bunny} Designer for House Mouse and Friends

A great HM card. And well done on putting your Scan N Cut to use so quickly. I don't use mine for cutting out stamped images but you'll find it a great help!
