Woodware Terrarium

Hello and happy bank holiday Monday to you!
Here's my card:

I couldn't decide which picture to post so I posted all of them!

I used:
Woodware stamp 'Terrarium' FRS090
Promarkers
Crea-Nest-Lies XXL 'Ticket square with stitch' dies
LOTV sentiment stamp
Craft Consortium Polka dot paper
Snippet of green striped paper
Stickles
brad, gems and string
and lots of my favourite Glossy Accents! (which I'm going to have to replace as it used a lot!)

Challenges:
snippets playground challenge- use snippets - sorry I didn't take a picture but I used a snippet of striped green paper also the sentiment was stamped on a snippet of white and then coloured pink.
allsorts challenge AG/blast for the past
as you like it challenge favourite-sketch-and-why. I like a sketch that can show 2 different types of paper - normally 1 quite plain and 1 patterned. I also like my stamped image in the centre of my card.

Phew! that's a lot of challenges!!

Thanks for visiting my blog today and please leave me a comment if you do!
Hope you have a great day 🌞

Snippets Playground Challenge

Hi there,
todays card is for the Snippets playground challenge where Miss Di and Sarn encourage everyone to use up all the snippets and offcuts from previous cards.
Here's what I used (mostly from my previous card):

and here's my card:

Now there is a tale to tell with this card!
I started off with an unbranded die from Amazon and as I've had trouble in the past with sticking down intricate dies I though that I would try using a sheet of 'Stick it' adhesive. Well after reading the instructions I managed to put the sheet on the wrong side of the mint coloured card - TWICE!!! πŸ˜–rather than waste the die cut I stuck the two pieces together to give it some more dimension and because the adhesive was also on the top piece I decided to cover it in glamour dust glitter. After all that faffing I couldn't be bothered to die cut another piece so I just stick it to my base card with a glue pen! But I suppose it was a bit of a happy accident because I quite like the look of it 😊 I finished the card off with some Stampin Up gems and managed to step away from the card - no Glossy Accents or the kitchen sink!

I can see me using this die for lot's of different cards and colour combinations but hopefully next time I will put the Stick It sheet on the right way!

Happy New Home for Jules!

Hello there and welcome to my blog.
I made todays card to virtually send to my lovely blog buddy Jules who has just moved house!

I used:
Penny Black stamp 'Home Sweet Home' 1747K
Promarkers
papers from the Works
sentiment from The lovely studio (very sadly closed )
MFT blueprints 14 dies

Jules is such a lovely person and she makes the most amazing cards - which cause my bank balance to rocket when I NEED to buy all the products that she uses!! She has just moved house and I am hoping that she will be back crafting very soon.
Wishing you lots of love and laughter in your new home Jules.

Spring Joy!

Hi there, well the title of my post is certainly not about the weather!!!   πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦
It is the name of my Penny Black stamp used for todays card:

I used:
Penny Black 'Spring Joy!' 2565J stamp
Promarkers
Papermania Happy Birthday To You papers
Buttons and flowers from stash
The Crepe paper dies are from The Greetery
Now I did use my sewing machine to stitch around the edges but please don't look too closely because my stitching is atrocious!! In fact I did my best to hide it up and nearly didn't even post the card as I am so unhappy with it! After much faffing I think that I have sorted my tension out now - hopefully!

Challenges:
as you like it challenge. favourite-clean-or-fussy-and-why? this is a difficult one because I do love the look of CAS cards but I can't quite seem to master them... I always have to step away from the card so I suppose that I prefer fussy cards so that I can pile everything on!!

Thanks for visiting my blog today and please leave me a comment if you do!

Penguin shaker card

Good evening from what was a beautiful sunny (but a very chilly) day in Devon,
Today's card is a shaker card:

I used:
Gingerbread Lane background paper by Jennifer Ellory
Clearly Besotted sentiment
Promarkers
various sequins and Stampendous Frantage shaved ice
Penguin stamps, dies and tree dies from Amazon

Challenges:
as you like it challenge. favourite-cute-or-floral-and-why. (2nd entry) I definitely favour cute cards as I think they make people smile and they are more fun than floral cards - I also have far more cute stamps than floral!

So that is a head start on my Christmas cards for this year, hopefully I can keep it up and there won't be a mad dash later in the year!

Jules made me buy it!

Hi there,
todays card is made using a postage stamp die that Jules from Always with a heart blog made me buy after seeing her beautiful cards - especially this one . I have spent endless time trying to find the paper that Jules used with no avail! Here's my version:

I wasn't brave enough to stitch around my images like Jules did as my machine skills aren't up to it!
Everything used on this card came from snippets of  the Stamperia Provence paper pad with some SU gems and purple card stock. I also inked around the edges of the background paper to give it a vintage look. This die is very versatile and I can see why Jules is addicted to it!
I have also made a Christmas card with this die and I stencilled the images on it - I will share that one next time.

Challenges:
Pixies snippets playground.challenge-476. use snippets  I used lots of snippets from the Stamperia paper pad. Sorry I didn't take a photo as I think I used a snippet from each page!
