My dream house

Happy Monday everyone!

Hope that you are well and had a lovely weekend. I had the best day ever on Saturday at Westpoint Exeter craft show - WOW! OMG!
I have been there in previous years but not really known what to buy and dare I say it bought things and not used. But I had a list of things this year that I wanted/needed! so I knew what to look for.
I won't show you what I bought as then hubby would know exactly how many pennies I spent Shhhhh! But I did buy some stamps and dusters from Inkylicious which are fab. On previous years the demonstrations have been so crowded that I didn't stop but I got hooked this time!
Some peg stamps from Card-io made their way into my basket and so did a CD Rom called Fabulous Fashion by Katy Sue Designs. I also bought a couple of Penny Black Christmas stamps as I don't have any Christmassy ones. That's enough information for one day but you will see my goodies on future cards.
Here is my card for today:

Items used:
Inkylicious dusters to apply distress inks, Hobby Art Autumn Scene-it stamps, Aqua Markers, Embossing powder, Glossy Accents, Pink Petticoat sentiment, nail heads and Docrafts Wellington paper.

So that's it for today thanks for stopping by - TTFN

Standing fall Tilda

Good evening lovely blog people!

Without further ado here is today's card:

Items used:
Standing fall Tilda, ProMarkers, Floral Ovals SB dies, Raspberry Road papers 'Love lives here', maple leaf and flower punch.

I have just purchased a fabulous watermark for my photo's now I just need to figure out how to use it!!  Why do computers have to be so complicated?

Back to my card - I hope that you like it!
I bought a couple of Copic pens today to give them a try but had a shock when I paid £3.25 each!!
They will have to be super special for me to swap my ProMarkers at that price. Any opinions on Copics verses ProMarkers would be much appreciated. I have also been considering Distress markers so thoughts on those would be fab too!

So ta ta for now and thanks for stopping by.

Love Is

Hello everyone,

a very blingy  card today:

I heat embossed 'Love Is' heart from Indigo Blu with white embossing powder then Fran-taged the edges !

I would like to enter this into the Indigo Blu Challenge where the theme is 'Shabby Chic'.
Also I would like to enter Live and Love Crafts Challenge and this is the inspirational photo:

I have used the heart shape and pink colours.
I have just discovered this site and found some scrummy things to put on my never ending wish list - sigh!
I have just had a  thought that if I didn't enter blog world I wouldn't see things that I wanted - but there's no fun in that is there!!

Take care and TTFN

Autumnal baking background Tilda!

Hi there,

my blog title applies to the different challenges that I am entering with this card:

Apologies for the picture overload!

Items used:
Baking Tilda and Kitchen sideboard, ProMarkers, Josy Rose nail heads, Raspberry Road papers and embellishments, Wink of Stella pen and Glossy Accents.

I got really frustrated making this card because the embellishments were eventually printed from a free cd with a magazine but for some reason my computer will not let me read PDF files - Ggrrr! HELP!!
I don't really know that much about computers and would like to know more like do I add Google + to my blog? I could carry on with my list of questions but I won't bore you any more!!

I hope that you liked my card and thanks for stopping by and if you would like to leave a comment I would be well chuffed!

Butterfly Wishes background

Hi there,

an early post for me today as I wanted to catch the only two rays of sunshine to take my picture!

I made my own background for this card by rubbing pink and purple inks onto white card then I stamped the butterflies (Clearly Besotted) using Versamark. Next I heat embossed with clear embossing powder then covered the whole card with black ink. With a tissue I then rubbed over the card to make the butterflies appear - magic!
It's not as clear as I would like but it is my first attempt.
I followed a tutorial from  Catherine Pooler where she makes everything look so easy!

I hope that my card doesn't look too dark - perhaps my 3D butterflies should have been a lighter colour.
Anyway that's my card for the day thanks for stopping by and a big thank you if you leave a comment!

Birthday balloon boy

Happy Sunday everyone.

Hope the weather isn't too bad for you as it's pretty wet here in Devon.

Here is a card that I made using a free Molly Blooms stamp which came with a magazine ages ago.

Items used:

Kitschy Kitchen by Melissa Frances backing paper, Stampin Up sentiment punch and border die, Pink Petticoat sentiment, Sizzix balloon die. Coloured with ProMarkers.
Not happy with the black pen which I used to go around the top balloon as it isn't even but hey ho!

What a difference a day makes here are 2 of my chickens sunbathing yesterday! :

The cream one is actually asleep! Don't you just love the outstretched leg! They wait by the door to the outside store room as they know the corn is in the red tub. Quite often you will hear them knocking on the door!

Anyway enough chicken talk, hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by.

Hopeful

Good morning all.

Best not mention the weather today as it is not nice. Food shopping in a bit then crafty time. Is it me or does food shopping get more boring every week? I do try to cook most meals from scratch but isn't it just so nice just to bung things in the oven!

Anyway enough moaning! Here's today's card:

Items used:
Hobby House topper 'Hopeful', Stampin Up sentiment stamp and punch, stickles and Glossy Accents, embellishments from my stash. The backing paper (my most favouratist in the whole world!) is from Raspberry Road - I would like to blow this up to make a picture.
Am I the only person who feels like it's cheating to use a pre-coloured topper?

So that's all for today I hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by.

Hi there - I hope that you are enjoying your Sunday.
Heavy showers here in Devon - perfect excuse for crafting!

Here is a card that I made using Stampin Up Take Care set and I heart hearts also using Adorning Accents die. The paper is Papermania Birdsong.

I would like to enter it into  Less is More challenge where the colours are dark green and rust.
I do hope that it is CAS enough!  I still struggle with not piling everything on the card and have to restrain myself!

Anyway I hope that you like it and have a lovely evening.

Heart snippets

Happy Saturday everyone!

Well it was raining when I first got up this morning to let the chickens out but now it seems to be brightening up a bit. I allow myself a twenty minute lye-in at the weekends but if I leave it much longer one of my chickens trashes the nest! She stands in the middle of the coop with the straw all around her and looks at me as if to say 'this is what happens if you're late'!!

On to today's card:

I would like to take this card and dash into the playground gates before they close ( I'm late AGAIN! ) to  Pixies Crafty Snippets Playground.

I did use a snippet for the gold tag ( Di did say just one snippet is OK ) but there are snippets of things in the heart - honest!!

Not happy with the bow as it is my first attempt at tying two together - will have to work on that.

Anyway I hope that you like it and have a lovely weekend.

If friends were flowers

Hi there.

Hope you are happy and well!

Here is a card that I made using a Lili of the Valley stamp:

This is coloured with ProMarkers with added Stickles and Glossy Accents. The backing papers were free with a magazine ages ago called Petite Papers. It is a Pink Petticoat sentiment and stitched paper.

This is actually my second attempt as I did watercolour it at first but I didn't use watercolour paper. As you can imagine the paper bobbled - I must invest in some more paper!

Hope you like today's card and thanks for stopping by.

Lola Rose - Cupcakes

Good evening all,

hope that you have had a good day.

Here is a card that I made after a little spend at Pink Petticoat.

I have coloured Lola in with ProMarkers and added some Stickles and liquid pearls with a touch of Glossy Accents.
The black spotted backing paper looks a bit faded in the photo but it is really dark black.
That's it for today - thanks for stopping by.
